Material Selection
Material selection is the fun part! But it can be overwhelming with all the material out there. When I start selecting materials, I get out 3 potential options for each space and narrow down the selection to the most suitable in the space and connects very well with the other selections in the rest of the house. Keeping in mind the client’s ideas, house style and exterior design. Here’s some of the material boards of past projects I worked on, I hope it gives you inspiration of how to put materials together and select the best options that work for you and your family;
Rustic Interiors:
This project was a Rustic Style Farmhouse with warm finishes and special textures and patterns
A concept of a Master suite that has wall coverings in the bedroom walls and a complementary accent tiles at the sink area in the bedroom
kids bedrooms / bathrooms should be a bit more fun with colorful schemes, but kept the Rustic style in the use of concrete tiles, brick layout tiles, rustic map wallcovering…

The clients wanted lots of color in their house, it was a challenge but the most fun I had!
Clients wanted a black, white and dark green theme. Since then Dark Green is my favorite color.
