Summer of 2020, Quarantined with a 5 year old and a 1 year old and no where to go. We were planning to visit back home but because of the Stay at home and closures we decided to bring part of our country to our home.

We started with looking at images and drawing on paper what we would like the mural to look like.

Prepping the wall, covering the floor and baseboard. Drawing the outline with white chalk.

Start mixing paint and do the first layers of paint

Your kids can help but they also can make the project take a bit longer ;)

You can start to add details to the stone, tree trunk, leaves

It’s August and summer is almost over! We’re almost there!

That’s it! After 3 months, an hour or two every day or every other day and we did it!
